Si diploma in Pittura all'Accademia di Brera e dal 1978 allestisce mostre personali in alcune tra le più importanti città italiane. È frequentemente invitato a collettive di pittura, di disegno e d'arte incisoria. 
Negli ultimi anni ha allestito esposizioni "tematiche" dove tutte le opere ruotavano attorno all'argomento prescelto:

• 1992 - Allegoria dell'Occidente, con interventi di Pier Aldo Rovatti, Mario Trevi, Umberto Galimberti e Romano Madera.
• 1994 - "Che più non son gli dei fuggiti...", con intervento di Luigi Zoja
• 1996 - In vinum pronus - Mostra nella chiesa sconsacrata di Sant'Erasmo a Bonassola (SP).
• 1999 -"Mythos" - Mostra alla Gall. "Arte Armanti" di Varese.
• 2001 -Il mito della caverna di Platone - Mostra a Villa Camperio nel Comune di Villasanta e con l'intervento di U. Galimberti sul tema: "L'uomo nella civiltà della tecnica".
• 2003 - Perseide - Mostra alla Gall. "Arte Armanti" di Varese.
• 2006 -La nave dei folli - Mostra alla Gall. "Ponterosso" di Milano

È consulente artistico per lo Studio Ambrosetti - The European House.

Svolge consulenze per questioni iconografiche e storiche dell’arte per diverse aziende italiane, oltre a svolgere conferenze, incontri e dibattiti su questioni tecniche, storiche e teoriche dell’arte, per Istituzioni pubbliche ed associazioni culturali private.

È autore e collaboratore di testi teorici e storici sull’arte (Vedi l'elenco nella pagina dei testi).Collabora con "Grafica d'Arte" e "L'occhio nel segno", riviste di storia dell'incisione antica e moderna e storia del disegno.

Nel 2011 ha pubblicato il testo "MOGLI, GARZONI E AMANTI. Amore ed erotismo nella vita e nell'opera degli artisti del Cinquecento" presso l'editore Polistampa Pagliai di Firenze.

He graduates on painting at the Brera's Accademy. Since 1978 he prepares personal exhibitions in the most important italian cities.
In the last years his exhibitions have developped around singles themes:

• 1992 -  Allegoria dell'Occidente (Occident's allegory), with lectures of Pier Aldo Rovatti, Mario Trevi, Umberto Galimberti and Romano Madera.
• 1994 - "Che più non son gli dei fuggiti..."(There are not longer the gods...) with lecture of Luigi Zoja.
• 1996 - "In vinum pronus" (Dedicated to the wine), in the unsacred church of S. Erasmo in Bonassola (SP- Italy)
• 1999 - "Mithos", Exhibition at "Arte Armanti" gallerie in Varese (Italy).
• 2001 - l mito della caverna di Platone (The cave mith of Platon), exhibition in Villa Camperio, with the support of the municipality of Villasanta (Milan) and the lecture of U. Galimberti: "The man in the tecnology civilization".
• 2003 -Perseide - Exhibition at "Arte Armanti", gallery in Varese.
• 2006 -La nave di folli (Ship of fools) - Exhibition at "Ponterosso", galllery in Milan.

He develops consultations for iconographics and historicals subjects of the art for different Italians companies.

He is author and collaborator of theoretical and historical texts on the art (consult the list in the page of the texts). It give conventions and lectures about theoretic, technical and historical art subjects.

He collaborates with "Grafica d'Arte" and "L'occhio nel segno", review of history of the ancient and modern incision and history of the drawing.

He is artistic consultant for the Studio Ambrosetti - The European House

In 2011 he published the text "WIVES, BOYS AND LOVERS. Love and eroticism in the life and work of artists of the sixteenth century" from the publisher Polistampa Pagliai in Florence.
